DreamFast Variation Studio docs.

Variation Studio replaces WooCommerce’s one-at-a-time variation accordion with a single table for the whole product. You see every variation at once, edit inline or in bulk, and your changes stay in the browser until you choose to save them.

The safety model: edits are local until you save · Preview shows every change first · saves are all-or-nothing · the last save can be undone.

• WooCommerce must be active. If it is not, the plugin stays dormant and shows a notice.
• Works with your existing variable products — there is nothing to migrate.
• HPOS-compatible. It only works with product data and never touches orders.

• 1. Choose a variable product and open it in the Variation Studio workspace.
• 2. Find the gaps with the Product Health Panel.
• 3. Edit inline, in bulk, with generated SKUs, or by assigning images.
• 4. Preview the full old → new list, with warnings.
• 5. Save safely — and undo the last save if it was not right.

The panel above the table counts the things that usually go wrong: missing SKUs, missing prices, missing images, out-of-stock variations and duplicates. Click any card to filter the table down to exactly those variations, so you can fix them without hunting.

• Inline editing — change SKU, prices, stock, status, weight and image directly in the table. Changed cells are highlighted and an unsaved-changes bar appears.
• Bulk Actions — select the variations you can see and apply one value across all of them, locally, before any save.
• Auto SKU Builder — build SKUs from tokens such as product slug, attributes, colour and size. Variations that already have a SKU are skipped, and duplicates are caught before anything is applied.
• Variation images — assign or remove a variation’s own image from the Media Library, one row at a time.

• Preview Changes lists every pending change as old → new, with clear warnings, before anything is written.
• Safe Save validates the changes together and writes them through WooCommerce’s own data layer — all-or-nothing.
• Rollback Last Save restores the values from just before your last save for that product, in one click.
• You can also discard unsaved local edits at any time before saving.

Note: rollback restores your last save as a quick safety net. It is not a full version history.

• It edits existing variations. It does not create or delete variations or products.
• It is admin-only and adds no front-end output or assets to your storefront.
• It reads and writes through WooCommerce CRUD, with no custom database tables.
• There is no CSV import or export — it is a focused in-admin editing tool, not an importer.
• Uninstalling leaves your product data intact.
