How to install Login Studio, choose a preset, set your layout and branding, and turn the design off again — for the free plugin on WordPress.org.
Overview
Login Studio is a preset-based designer for the WordPress login screen. It restyles wp-login.php using the official WordPress login hooks — it does not change how authentication works.
Scope: this is a design tool, not a security plugin. It does not hide wp-login.php, and it does not add CAPTCHA, two-factor authentication or social login. Use a dedicated security plugin for those.

- WordPress 6.5 or newer
- PHP 7.4 or newer
- Tested up to WordPress 7.0.2
Installation
- In your WordPress dashboard go to Plugins → Add New and search for “DreamFast Login Studio”.
- Click Install Now, then Activate.
- Alternatively, download the ZIP from WordPress.org and upload it under Plugins → Add New → Upload Plugin.
- Open the plugin’s settings screen and make sure Login design enabled is on.
Presets
Each preset sets the layout, colours, form style and background together, so you get a finished look in one click. You can adjust anything afterwards.
- Modern Glass — frosted card over a rich gradient.
- SaaS Clean — bright, neutral and business-like.
- Dark Neon — deep background with vivid accents.
- Creative Split — colour panel beside the form.
- Soft Gradient — gentle pastel wash.
- Minimal Corporate — restrained and quiet.
Layouts
The layout controls where the form sits on the screen. You can set a separate layout for mobile so phones stay clean.
- Classic Centered — the familiar centred login card.
- Split Login — a branded panel beside the form, at 50/50 or 60/40.
- Login Drawer — the form anchored to one edge, full height.
- Full Background Overlay — your image edge to edge, with an adjustable overlay.
Branding and styling
- Logo — upload your logo, set its width, and choose where it links to.
- Background — a preset, a solid colour, a CSS gradient, or an image with an adjustable overlay.
- Animated backgrounds — Gradient Drift, Aurora and Spotlight. They respect the visitor’s “reduced motion” setting.
- Form style — Glass, Solid or Minimal, plus your own button colour and corner radius.
- Copy — set your own title, subtitle and footer note.
Live preview: the settings screen shows your changes as you make them, so you can settle the design before saving.
Turning the design off
Toggle Login design enabled off at the top of the settings screen and the default WordPress login appearance returns. You do not need to deactivate the plugin.
Privacy and uninstalling
- All CSS, JavaScript and assets are served locally from the plugin. Nothing is loaded from the internet.
- Uninstalling deletes the single option the plugin stores, and nothing else.
