DreamFast Commerce Float quick start.
Keep the add-to-cart button — plus coupon and contact shortcuts — visible while shoppers scroll your WooCommerce product pages. Here is how to install it, turn it on, and configure the basics.
Overview
DreamFast Commerce Float adds a floating bar to your WooCommerce product pages that keeps the buying actions in reach as shoppers scroll. This page is the public quick-start guide; the full set of controls lives on the plugin settings screen after installation.
More detailed docs will be expanded over time.
Installation
Install the free version from your WordPress dashboard under Plugins → Add New (search for “DreamFast Commerce Float”), or upload the plugin ZIP via Add New → Upload Plugin, then click Activate. WooCommerce must be installed and active.
Basic setup
After activation the floating bar is applied to your WooCommerce product pages. Open any product to confirm it appears, then adjust its behavior and appearance from the settings screen. Test on a staging product before rolling it out to a live store.
Where to find settings in WordPress admin
All options live on the DreamFast Commerce Float settings screen in your WordPress admin — configure once and the bar stays consistent across every product.
In the plugin admin — after activation, open the DreamFast Commerce Float settings screen to control the sticky add-to-cart bar, floating coupon and contact widgets, mobile behavior, and styling.
Sticky add-to-cart bar
The core feature: a compact bar that pins the product image, title, price, and the add-to-cart button to the screen as the shopper scrolls, so the buying action is always one tap away — on desktop and mobile.
Floating coupons
Surface an active promotion in a floating element on the product page, so shoppers see the offer at the moment they are deciding to buy.
Contact shortcuts
Add quick contact actions so shoppers with a pre-sale question can reach you without leaving the product page.
Lite vs Pro
The free version gives you the core floating add-to-cart experience. Pro extends it with the additional floating widgets and advanced styling — see the full comparison on the product page.
Troubleshooting
A quick checklist for the most common issues. Always test changes on staging first.
- Bar does not appear — confirm the plugin is active, WooCommerce is active, and the page is a product page. Re-save the product and clear any cache.
- Bar overlaps other elements — some themes add their own sticky elements. Adjust the bar position in settings, or test with a default theme to identify the conflict.
- Coupon or contact widget missing — confirm the feature is enabled in settings and, for coupons, that a valid coupon is configured.
- Cache or minification conflict — clear your cache and exclude the plugin scripts from aggressive JS minification or combining.
